Open the doors and let them in: Highview Middle School fills to the brim as classes begin

Tuesday was a big day for students throughout the Mounds View School District, as classes began for the 2017-18 school year. District officials expected more than 11,100 students to be attending school in the district. Teachers and principals lined the sidewalks and hallways to welcome the younsters as they arrived at Highview Middle School and assisted students in finding their schedules and classrooms.
