Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received, publicly opened, and read aloud by representatives of the City Council of Columbia Heights, Anoka County, MN, at the Municipal Service Center at 637 38th Avenue NE, in said City at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, for furnishing of all work and materials for consideration of City Improvements: 2017 CSAH2 STORM SEWER AND STREET IMPROVEMENT AND 2017 MSA STREET REHABILITATION AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT.

The Storm Sewer and Street Improvement is on CSAH 2 (40th Avenue) from Central Avenue to Reservoir Boulevard. The work includes approximately 1,100 feet of 18 to 36 HP pipe, 600 feet of bituminous street reconstruction and 1,200 feet of bituminous mill and overlay. The MSA Street Rehabilitation and Sidewalk Improvement is on 39th Avenue from Huset Parkway/Jefferson Street to Central Avenue. The work includes 1,900 feet of full depth reclamation and bituminous paving with new curb and gutter and sidewalk on the south side. Plans and Specifications incorporating the work for the projects may be examined at the Office of the City Engineer. Copies may be purchased from the City of Columbia Heights for the price of $50.00 per set. Plans and Specifications can also be downloaded at QuestCDN.com for a $30.00 fee. Plans and Specifications, so purchased, become the property of the purchaser, and the City will not refund any portion of the purchase price.

WORK ON THIS PROJECT MUST BE COMPLETED BY: October 27, 2017

The City Council will consider award of contract at their regular meeting held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 590 40th Avenue NE.
